This Buyer Participation Agreement ("Buyer Agreement") supplements the Ordella Terms of Service when you place a bid. By placing your first bid (or confirming below), you agree to this Buyer Agreement.

1. Binding bids

1.1 A bid is a binding commitment to purchase the lot if you win, at the final auction price plus applicable charges shown at checkout.

1.2 You bid your maximum. Ordella uses proxy bidding: we bid on your behalf only as much as needed to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum. Your maximum remains private.

1.3 Whole euros and minimum increments apply as displayed.

2. Auction close

2.1 Lots close at the displayed time subject to a soft close: a valid bid in the final 30 seconds extends the clock by 30 seconds until there are 30 uninterrupted seconds without a new valid bid.

2.2 The opening price is the minimum acceptable price. There is no hidden reserve and no seller veto after a valid bid.

2.3 The winner is the highest valid proxy maximum at close, resolved by published tie-break rules.

3. If you win

3.1 You must pay within the stated deadline using approved payment methods.

3.2 Failure to pay may result in account restriction, forfeiture of deposits (if applicable), and liability for costs as permitted by law.

3.3 You inspect the object on delivery and raise disputes with evidence within stated windows.

4. Listing reliance

4.1 Listings distinguish observed, declared, inferred, and verified claims. Inferred statements are not guarantees.

4.2 You are responsible for reading the listing and asking questions through Ask the House before bidding if uncertain.

5. Liability

5.1 You are liable for non-payment and abusive conduct.

5.2 Ordella is liable for auction mechanics failures attributable to our systems (e.g. a valid bid not recorded). Ordella is not liable for your failure to bid or monitor the auction.
